Jerry McElhatton, Director
Jerry McElhatton, Director at Radilent, has more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of the financial services industry. He’s former MasterCard President of Global Technology and Operations and former senior executive vice president of MasterCard International. In this role, McElhatton oversaw all global technology and operations for MasterCard including systems development, information security, fraud, credit and debit processing, operations, strategic architecture and the global telecommunications network spanning 247 countries. He also developed and supported sales for new products and services, including ecommerce. McElhatton implemented company-wide process change efforts to generate incremental revenue and reduce operating expense. He was also actively involved on the Policy and Operating committees, developing and refreshing the company’s corporate sales and marketing strategy. McElhatton oversaw a global staff of approximately 3,200.

Before joining MasterCard in 1994, McElhatton was President and Chief Executive Officer of Dallas-based Payment Systems Technology & Consulting, Inc., a consulting firm offering process reengineering and technology design. He developed and implemented core processing, operating systems and technology products for some of the largest banks in the United Kingdom, including HSBC. He also served for 10 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of First Republic Bank Services Corporation. Previously, McElhatton held executive management positions in operations, technology, product management and marketing with Cleveland-based Ameritrust and Bank One.

McElhatton serves on a number of Board of Directors and Advisory Boards for major hardware and software companies. He’s assisted with the creation of an offshore technology development joint venture in India.

McElhatton is currently President and CEO of Virtual Resources where he consults businesses on proven management solutions, strategic sales and technology direction. He also assists companies in process reengineering, organization realignment and strategic direction review and development.

McElhatton is a member of the National Council of the Washington University Olin School of Business and a Board Director for the Center for Security Technologies. He’s served on the boards of several charitable organizations and educational institutions. He holds degrees in Industrial engineering and Industrial Management
